BackJoy Posture Champion for the Month of June, Mr. Jinichi Watanabe from Japan, Chiropractor, Track and Field Athlete, Gold and Silver Medalist holding the national record holder in both 100m and 200m at the 2018 World Masters Track and Field Championship

“The 2018 World Masters Track and Field Championship” was held in the beautiful city of Malaga, Spain from 4-16 September 2018. There was an exciting buzz in the main stadium as representatives from a record-breaking of 100-plus countries came to participate in this competition. The participants comprise of veteran athletes in the event of track and field, road running and cross country running.

I competed in both the 100m and 200m sprint relay. Based on the official results, I was surprised to hear that I came in 1st position in the 100m relay and 2nd position in the 200m relay. It’s a national record achievement and also a proud moment to represent my home country, Japan, in the 2018 World Masters Track and Field Championship.

As I frequently commute by car, sitting on BackJoy definitely helps to make the drive less tiring and as I noticed less effort is required to sit up straight when your pelvis is kept in balance. BackJoy definitely helps improve posture/alignment and in exchange the benefits are endless!

Running is my passion. As a track and field athlete, my running performance is best when I am relaxed and in good posture alignment. My BackJoy Posture Plus is my encouraging supporter. I felt comfortable sitting on it all day even before and right after the race for relaxation and recovery.
